With Da Mo Yao (大漠謠) airing date approaching, the production team has released Hu Ge singing the newly release theme song.
On Hu Ge’s birthday his die-hard fans, made a video with this song to wish him a “Happy Birthday”. According to producer Cai Yinong, Hu Ge sang with emotions with no modification, filled with sincere.

Hu Ge fits the role perfectly, however I’m Huo Qu Bing ship all the way, regardless of Eddie Peng being chosen for the role in the drama. ^^

Well in the novel Jin Yu ends up with Huo Qi Bing (Eddie Peng) so I’m guessing the drama will follow the novel in terms of plot development, unless they decided to change it.
